In 1925, Louis Tannen began selling magic tricks from a stand in Flatbush Brooklyn. Today, Tannen’s Magic is a legendary fixture of the New York magic scene. The store receives visitors from every continent and is frequently called upon to consult for television, theater, and film. Aside from celebrity magicians like David Copperfield and David Blaine, Tannen’s counts JJ Abrams, Larry Wilmore, and Neil Patrick Harris as valued regular customers.
